dog is just about the most wonderful thing you could do for soldiers or
anyone else who needs a little peace & TLC. You must be a loving soul
to give of yourself this way. Congratulations sweet boy on being chosen

A very happy Dog of the Day to you, precious Denny! My husband just walked by and caught a glimpse of you up on my screen and said, "Oh my gosh, what a beautiful dog!" Truer words were never spoken, Denny...You truly are a gentle giant, with the face and spirit of an angel, and a heart of gold! If any doggie were destined for therapy work it is you, sweetheart! As my Mom used to say, you're good to the bone! Bless you and your wonderful family for committing to such a noble, selfless cause; bringing a smile, a small measure of comfort and peace to those so in need of a bit of quiet, unconditional love; what a priceless gift. Our veterans have sacrificed so much on our behalf, and it's wonderful knowing that there are good souls like you and your family out there helping to pay it forward! You, dear Denny, and your dear solider friends at the Veterans' nursing home, are all heroes in my book!

I was so happy to see a great pyr as dotd! Iam a great pyr owner of a female named Kc(in pic) -they are such gentle dogs for their size,when you said that Denny doesnt shake with his paw all i can think of is how i get the pyr paw with mine and know how it can leave black and blue marks.
Iam sure Denny meeting patients brings a smile to them it would be hard not to with such a gentle giant
