Hello, sweet Dusty and Ricky too! You are terrific spokes-bunnies! I enjoyed reading your story and seeing your pictures today. You are so cute and I'll bet you are both very soft to pet. I'm glad you are happy with your mom who loves you so much! I hope you get a delicious bunny treat or maybe some extra petting or playing time to celebrate YOU! Edited to say: My brother's children had bunnies as a pet two times. Each time, they had responsibilities for bunny's care and feeding; and the two bunnies were beloved members of their family. Their second bunny, Winston, liked to look out the window and having his ears gently stroked. I bunny-sat when they went on vacation a couple of times; it was a lot of fun!

As Cassiesmom has said, you cuties make awesome spokesbunnies for responsible bunny care and guardianship, and we all hope others read your wise words and take heed, especially during this Easter season. Having to surrender a furkid for any reason is painful, not only for the critter but the family as well, so hopefully families considering becoming bunny parents will do their homework, the necessary research, before welcoming one of you into their lives; it's a lifetime commitment!

Dusty you are just too cute for words!!!

I loved seeing your sweet pictures. They sure brightened up my gloomy rainy day. How kind of you to remind others of the responsibilities of having a bunny for a pet. When I was a girl, many many many years ago, bunnies and ducks were sold in dime stores at Easter. Many met a sad end. Thankfully, they are no longer sold like that.

Mack and Jack were my brother's and my bunnies when we were young. They were lots of work but well worth hit. I am so glad you have a loving family and happy home too.

Your wise words, darling Dusty, may hopefully avert impulsive acquisition of Easter bunnies, and save many other rabbits from being forsaken after the novelty wears thin for children.
