I LOVE Torties, even though I'm owned by a Siamese (don't tell him). My family cat when I was young, Chrissie, was a tortie, and just as beautiful as you are. Enjoy a long life with your family, and happy COTD!

Peanut, what a fine specimen of a tortie you are! How wonderful that you're so adaptable, too; another fine trait in a furkid. Enjoy your day as COTD, cutie pie.![]()

Oh my what gorgeous tortoiseshell markings you have, Peanut! And from the sounds of it, you live up to the personality as well, talkative and inquisitive.
I enjoyed reading about you, and admiring your beauty in these photos. Seeing you out for a walk in your harness made me smile from ear to ear - out and about, investigating some more! He heeee
How wonderful that your mommy walked in to the store that day and checked out the adoption space. From the sounds of it, couldn't be a better match than the 2 of you. And then, to have a sister move in so you can play! Oh what fun.
Have a wonderful day, Peanut, as you are Cat of the Day!

Hello Peanut! What a pretty girl you are... and so lucky that you and your human found each other. It sure sounds as if you were made for each other and it is obvious that you have a great home and are loved. I hope all of you have many more years together. Congrats on beng COTD! Kay in NC
What a pretty girl you are Peanut!!
You are now the luckiest girl in the catworld, having found such a loving family to stay with, for ever and ever!!
I miss you enormously Sydney, Maya, Inka & ZazouBe happy there at the Rainbow Bridge
I'm glad you got Peanuts, too...Torties are special cats who deserve special families! They are a bit different and sometimes take a little extra time and attention; those folks who gave her up gave up too quickly, but their loss is YOUR gain. I had Melissa aka 'Wissa for 15 years and she was a doll. Only girl in a gang of 5 boys yet when we were eating chicken, the boys knew to hold off, chicken was HERS!!! She also liked pepperoni, of all things, and her little paw would come out and say "hey, I want some." No, torties are not for everyone, but they are very special for those of us who get them. I will always remember my Wissa! Best to you and Peanut!

Wow - I'm so glad that you have your forever home, dear girl!
You resemble my late Gypsy, who lived for 15 years...
I hope that everyday is COTD for you!
