I got a car!

I got a car today, I am beyond excited. I've been waiting for my own car for so long. It's a little white 2010 Hyundai Elantra, and it's absolutely beautiful. His name is Bruce, because he has a little fin for the Sirus Radio and it reminds me of the shark from finding nemo



I have more pics but just the front for now because I don't wanna show the license plate # It only has 20 miles on it.

WOW - 2010 model no less. I'm still driving a 2003 Mazda Protege, altho it is in excellent condition and low mileage. The best thing about it too - it's paid for!!!!!

I don't want to go into THAT much detail, but someone my family is very close to bought it for me. He is the best man I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. He has hooked me up with my past two dogs, Sassy AND Mikey. He is always helping out others, especially family. He is the GREATEST man I know, I swear. I mean, my parents got me and my sister a car and I was very happy with that but we didn't realize the problems we were going to be having sharing it. It was a nice car, but I couldn't expect them to buy me a car and I didn't. I was gonna get a crappy $2000 car with my own money next year. But I appreciate the fact they had gotten me and my sister a car. I was SO happy though that I got my own. It was a big surprise.

Wow, congratulations, I bet it's nice! My car Stitch is a 1995. Don't say crappy $2000 car, I only paid $1300 for mine so that implies mine is crappy! I agree with pomtzu, it's nice having a car that's 100% paid off, especially when it comes to insurance.

Hehe, sorry I didn't mean to say a $2000 car would be crappy, but mine would, considering good cars in my area are like $5000 + and I can't afford that. My parents also wouldn't let me buy a car older then 2001.

Thanks guys, I LOVE this car! I drove it for the first time today and it drives beautifully! I felt like I had just gotten my license again though, it felt so weird driving a new car. I guess it's just something you gotta get used to. I think this car will last me at least 10 years, with all the extended warranties and insurance. My current unemployment status needs to change soon tho, I need to pay insurance somehow. I have more pics Not really the "official" first car shots though, we're gonna take those during the week!



No side views or interior pics yet, but the side has a tan little line going down it and it matches the interior to a T. I LOVE the interior. It's not leather, but the print is cute!

ETA: I think it's a pretty basic car, but it's great and BEYOND good enough for me! It's no Camaro or Mercedes, but one thing it is is all mine. The radio is fantastic, it has awesome features and I am in love. I am so lucky I really don't deserve this good a car with some of the stunts I've pulled in the past year w/ driving but I've learned and this car will be treated VERY well.
