    Good morning, Lucy!

    I enjoyed reading about you this morning, and the ways you love to snuggle with your humans. You have a wonderful family caring for you and making sure you get the things important to you -- both for health AND for fun times!

    I am sorry your initial 5 years in life were so sad, you must have felt ill most all the time. Lucky gal, you landed with a family who knew just what you needed, and who were able to provide it for you. You have returned that love and shown your thanks many times over.

    Happy Day to you today and every day, Lucy! I am pleased we get to meet you as Pet of the Day!

    Lucy, Hello Ole Girl (and I mean that in a sweet way)! Your humans certainly love and take great care of you or you wouldnt have made it to 15 years. I didnt know your type of pet would want to be on or near a human. Perhaps the warmth of their body makes you feel good. It was a joy and informative to read about you. Congrats on being POTD!     Lovely Lucy, you are gorgeous! Your shell looks like finely polished wood, thanks to the excellent care you are given by your devoted guardians. How sad that you had to endure such an atrocious early life, but I'm so glad you were rescued and your health and vitality restored. Surely by snuggling with your family you are demonstrating your gratitude and returning their love! You have made me smile by being chosen our most deserving POTD!

    I loved seeing your sweet picture. I don't think I've ever seen a turtle so comfy they would lay like that. If you were a cat, I'd think you'd be purring!!! Looks like all that love and yummy veggies and fruit worked wonders for you.

    Hi Lucy! Happy Pet of the Day to you! Oh, what a ravishing Torti girl you are; your shell is so glossy and colorful; as a fellow poster mentioned, it shines like a piece of finely polished wood! And whoever said Tortis aren't lovable, don't know how to snuggle, haven't met you! You sure look comfy, and very happy there restng on Daddy's arm! You had such an awful start at life, Lucy, but thank goodness for your wonderful, caring, loving forever family who nursed you back to health, saving you from a most unspeakable fate, for sure! Finally, in the loving care of your devoted humans, you're living the life you were meant to live; what a great story, with the happiest of endings! I hope you and your wonderful family enjoy an extra special day of celebration, and many, many more happy years together! Lots of love to you on your big day in the spotlight, beautiful Lucy! And please have your Mom or Dad give you an extra piece of yummy fruit or veggie, for me!
