My grandfather passed away yesterday...

Hey guys,

I just wanted to drop by and let everyone know that my grandpa passed away... He went really easy, I'm just not sure what to do without him.

My parents have been divorced since I was 1 and my grandpa and my mom raised me. He took Roxy in for me when we had to move to an apartment, and Roxy loved him to pieces, too.

Now he is with Roxy, my nanny, my aunt, and his family that he has lost over the years.

I'm dealing with it a lot better than I thought I would, but it's hard.

He was 80.

If you all could keep my family in your prayers, I would appreciate it.

Grandparents are our special teachers in life there to guide us along the way with all the experiences they have had, to pass on the family history, with stories & just be there for us as we are growing up. Thank you all for your kind words and thoughts and prayers. They really helped me feel a little bit better.

I'll attach a picture of me and my grandpa at graduation, though his eyes are closed. I have another one hanging on my bulletin board back in my dorm at UT. There's another one I couldn't find that I was going to share, but I also attached the picture of him walking my mom down the aisle at her wedding . We have lots of pictures of him at home and a lot of memories, it's just really hard realizing that I can't call him anymore or that he won't fuss at me anymore or the little things like that.
