Hi Aspen! A very happy Dog of the Day to you, sweet baby girl! Look at that beautiful face, that beautiful smile...pure love! Aside from those lovely splotches of white, you sure do look all Labbie! But no matter your breed blend Aspen, you couldn't be more beautiful if you tried (inside and out)!

I was so moved by your family's heartfelt, loving tribute to their beautiful best friend and furkid! Nothing beats a happy ending rescue story such as yours to start the day! It was definitely a case of love at first sight for you and your family, and the love they feel for you, and you for them, has only grown deeper over the years! Your young skin brother especially, is so lucky to have a gentle, loving best buddy such as you to share his days with, to grow up with! And as an extra bonus, he also found a soccer mate in you! Well, you are very much a Labbie, so of course balls, and loving your humans, loom large in your life! A family couldn't wish for a more perfect pup than you Aspen, and a little fur sister couldn't wish for a more loving mentor and big brother, than you; what a lucky group!

Dear Friend,
May the Lord bless you and your loved ones bountifully for taking in Aspen and her friend. It's people like you who help keep so many of these dogs from being put to sleep, although she may not have been at the humane society she was in. So many have turned to no kill shelters nowadays.
Aspen sounds like such a wonderful dog. I love her picture with her big doggie smile and her shining eyes. You can tell she's one great dog. You are blessed, and very fortunate, to have her.
May Aspen have a long, happy, healthy life with you. May she always feel great, with lots of energy.
