Since it's so hot across most of the country, I think it's time to call a waterworks Thursday and fill up the kiddie pools on the patio and fire up the BBQ....

Hot dog and hamburgers, marcaroni salad and chips.

Beer and wine coolers!

What are we filling up the kiddie pools with?

We can fill it with our river water. It's rained here for over a week. Finally having a dry day. If our river water is good enough for us to drink (and we do) it ought to be safe enough for the kiddie pools.

I got a watermelon at the store yesterday. I'll share!
Can I have a big juicy hamburger and onion rings and cherry limeade too.
Oh, and 6 catnip teas on ice?
