Whining annoying toddlers! lol

That's what my cats remind me of...every so often, they just start meowhining, making lots of noise, in what seems like a higher nasal tone. Don't really want food, or cuddles, they are just being miserable like a whining toddler!

I love them anyway, but at those times they do grate on my nerves a bit!

Anyone else here have whiners?

I sure do and her name is Pearl. She's constantly making some kind of noise unless she's asleep. That's the siamese in her though. My RB Sunny would howl early in the morning or late at night. I really don't miss this at all. The rest of my gang is usually fairly quiet. Ziggy tries to howl sometimes but it's too funny because she has such a tiny kitten voice that it doesn't quite sound like a howl.

Oh sure, Creamsicle is a pro. Her meow sounds like a squeaky door when she gets like that.

I haven't noticed my cats doing that. They usually only talk when the want something, or, when I have a conversation with them. Mack likes to sit at the sliding door and sing...meow, meow...meow, meow. It is a pleasant song.
