He's just a baby, about 6 months old right now.

If you handle him/her a lot, they will grow into little puppy dogs. They love to be held & will lay/sleep on your belly/chest while you watch tv. When on the floor they'll also follow you. An old friend of mine's turtle use to chase him to the bathroom like a little speeding bullet .. it was crazy funny to watch. He even like being rubbed.

My Snapping Turtle likes being rubbed too & he also likes to sleep on my lap & on fluffy things... he's a little weird, but I love all 30+lbs of him lol

He is a very pretty turtle. Now I want one of those in addition to fish. Hmmm...wonder what the cats would think?

That is very cool that they would like to be petted and held.
