Alaska man gets day in jail for throwing taco at restaurant manager

FAIRBANKS, Alaska — An Alaska man who hit a Taco Bell manager in the face with a double-decker taco has been sentenced to one day in jail and one year probation.

Warren Strickland of Fairbanks must also pay a $100 fine after pleading guilty Tuesday to disorderly conduct.

The 31-year-old says he threw the taco because it contained spit after he went through the drive-thru twice because the restaurant messed up his order. He claims the manager accused him of lying to get free food.

Strickland is barred from Taco Bell during his year of probation.

Refried beans and tortillas that make better frisbees than food. The music camp the Mayor and I went to many years ago tried having a mexican food night. It failed miserably, though it did increase the number of frisbees we were using in the courtyard.

The tostadas became a skit in our talent night.

People along the Rose Parade route used to throw tortillas and marshmallows until the law stopped it, I could see their point, but why not make a desginated hour to have a little phun?
