    Introducing Kiki (with pics)

Well, we did not intend to get a cat so soon after Seine passed away (of course we still miss her more than words can say ), but we really got lucky with the right little kitty!

Meet Kiki (she is named for the movie Kiki's Delivery Service)! She may have been born in May, so she is about 4-5 months old. Pip and Des were looking kind of dispirited because of Seine's absence, so I went to Petco to look at cat toys and of course looked at the cats they had for adoption from the local shelter. (I don't know why I always do- I probably shouldn't). Anyway, Kiki was there and just seemed like such a nice little cat, so I went back with Eric, and of course we took her home. She was at the shelter since she was at least 2 months old- I'm pretty sure she was not adopted because she did not like leaving her cage and would fight to get back in it.

She has been with us for only a couple of weeks, but now it's like she's always been with us. She's slapping dogs and playing with the cats. Pippin adopted her as his kitten (like he did Des), and Desmond has accepted her as his new playmate. I'm so happy they all get along- and Kiki even likes Lyra, who loves trying to grab her. Anyway, on to the pics:

Kiki is beautiful She was obviously waiting for just the right home and she has definitely found it It is wonderful to see her so happy and relaxed with your family - she fits right in. Love her in the photo with Pippin and Desmond - what a little ham she is

Awww... So sweet and pretty and adorable! And such good friends already with the rest of the family!

    Welcome home, Kiki!

Congratulations on your new kitty! She is a very pretty cat. The others seem to like her too.

I liked the Corgi sitting uder the high chair. My son's Corgi does that, also. They love babies who drop things.
