    Goodby, Sweet Vita

    My sweet Vita was helped to Rainbow Bridge earlier this afternoon. She had lived with me 12 years. I adopted her from the city shelter as an adult. Vita was diagnosed with hyperthyroid in February, and did not respond to the medicine. She was less than half her weight.





    My Beautiful Lady-Kat, the Queen of this Clowder. When you find Amber, don't fight with him OK?

    OH, I am so sorry Sandie. I am in tears here at work. I am so sorry for your loss. She was such a beautiful girl.

    I can feel your pain. I'm so sorry and she sure was a beauty.
    Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR) is a full management plan in which stray and feral cats already living outdoors in cities, towns, and rural areas are humanely trapped, then evaluated, vaccinated, and sterilized by veterinarians. Kittens and tame cats are adopted into good homes. Healthy adult cats too wild to be adopted are returned to their familiar habitat under the lifelong care of volunteers

    Sandie, Vita looks so much like my Pidge that they could be twins. Such a beautiful girl! I'm so sorry for your pain at losing her but she's at peace now and I hope that you soon will be as well. RIP, pretty Vita.
