Poor baby. I always feel sorry for pets that are troubled by fireworks and thunderstorms. I often wonder why some are uneasy and others are not. Too bad they do not make doggie ear plugs. Could someone please invent this!!!!

Oh, poor Hope. I try not to baby Layla and she does have two 'safe' spots she hides during fireworks and thunderstorms. After reading up on this, it seems researchers don't know why some dogs are afraid and some aren't. I raised all of my dogs the same and no other dogs have been afraid. Jake barks at them. Unfortunately, our area is like a war zone on the 4th with all the noise.
