    Lily

Wow Lily, you know the difference between weekdays and weekends? Can you teach my kitty the difference? What a smart girl you are. And thank you to your family for taking you in all those years ago. Enjoy your special day.

Like her? I love her and I'm sure everyone else does, too. How lucky you are to have such an intelligent alarm clock that lets you sleep in on the weekends. For this alone she deserves her title of COTD. Enjoy, pretty girl.
    Blessings,
    Mary

Awww....Lily, you're a sweetheart, and so intelligent, too! I wish my kitty knew what weekends meant!

Enjoy your COTD honors, honey, and demand lots of extra treats and attention! I'm sure you'll get both!

What a diminutive, darling girl you are, Lily, with just the right measure of spunk! One of my kitties is a drooler, too . . . do you purr? I always thought my cat drools instead of purring when petted, because I never heard him purr. Hope you have a grand day hunting for just the perfect piece of bark to bestow upon your guardian to show just how grateful you are for the loving home you have, and now for being chosen our marvelous COTD!

Happy Cat of the Day to you, lovely Miss Lily! What a beautiful Aussie girl you are, and what an enchanted life you are living there in Oz! I have to admit Lily, you don't look a day over 5! Still "full of beans" after so many years; keeping your Mommy smiling, and on her toes, 24/7! Must be all of that good loving keeping you so youthful and sprightly! I have to believe it was more than mere serendipity that brought you to your humans' doorstep that fateful day, 10 years ago! And what a blessing you turned out to be! Your family is one lucky lot to have a best friend and soul mate in you, beautiful Lily! And yes, we love you too!!! Hope you're in the midst of a very happy and fun filled day, celebrating your well earned Cat of the Day kudos! Hope your Mom will give you a big hug and a kiss for me...and you're welcome to warm, and drool on, my lap any time your up my way!

    Lovely Lily!

You are such a cutie...and you are a drooler...LOL! (Two of my cats - Crunch and Whiskers - droll when they're happy as well)!
    Enjoy your day!

    Hi Lily's owner!

She is beautiful and it was lovely to read a "Cat of the Day" from Aussie!! I'm from Perth and I have an old girl too who is 16 this year and she is called Lucy. She too stares at the wall sometimes and gets hopelessly lost, perhaps it is slight dementia if cats get such a thing!

But just a word of warning - if she is drooling she may have a bad tooth or inflammed gum. I am an ex vet nurse and we often saw cats with bad mouths (mainly caused by soft processed foods and biscuits). Just check inside to see if there is anything amiss, although they usually can't eat if in pain so she may just be a drooler!!

Best Wishes from Sue and Lucy in Sunny Perth.
