    Me and my dad!

Since my mom needed so much special care, dad hadn't been to the seaside in ages. Since mom passed away in December, he is doing so great in going on with his life!
He is 86, so it is not that easy really!

Last weekend we invited him to our appartment in Ostend. He loves Ostend; he lived there with mom and all kids (ecept me--> I am born later on).
He was very happy to come! He drove nearly 50 km to be with us!! What a man hey....

Here are a few pics of his visit!!

    few more coming up!!

How lucky to have your Dad. I envy you. I lost mine way too soon.

He looks great for his age.

What a handsome man your father is. He is lucky to have a daughter such as you to include him in your vacation plans.

How nice that your dad had a good time and how thoughtful of you to see to it that he got it. He looks wonderful, not at all his age!
    Blessings,
    Mary

That is just awesome. I agree, very handsome and dapper too! My dad is also 86. I am very fortunate to still have he and mom and count my blessings every day for that!

It looks like you had a lovely day and what a nice smile he has! Thanks so much for sharing.

Doesn't he look just great... and don't the both of you look like you are having just the greatest time!
I meant," said Ipslore bitterly, "what is there in this world that truly makes living worthwhile?"
    Death thought about it.
CATS, he said eventually. CATS ARE NICE.

Your father is a very dapper gentlemen. Such a sharp dresser!

He does not look his age at all. Staying busy, and brave, has a lot to do with that, I'm sure.

You are lucky indeed. My dad passed away last year, at age 82. I miss him every single day.
