    Grainger

I commute to work through the Tuscumbia River bottom, and every day that I drive through that swampy area I do so slowly and with my eyes peeled. Like as not I am going to find some unwanted castoff to rescue. Nearly every wanton waif I find gets delivered to the Corinth Alcorn County Humane Society animal shelter, but once in a while I get a hold of one who in turn gets a hold of me and won't let go.

Apparently, such is the case with this one. His name is Grainger. He is bubbly; he is bouncy; he barks a lot; and he belongs at Willow Oak.

    Silly Grainger:

    Vicious Grainger:

What luck you two found each other, although he sounds like quite a handful! How does he get along with the rest of them? Anyone in particular he fancies?

He is really charming your socks off there in the first picture. LOL!

I can't remember... did he get fixed?

He received his shots and lost is rocks!

He gets along well with everybody, but alas, he is the Omega. But he does bark. Man, can he bark! He is a handful: very spastic, as you can see by the pictures.

Does his bark have "arooo" in it? I definitely see Beagle in them there brown eyes and floppy ears, and Beagles are notoriously vocal!

He does not have the beagle bark, but he does have markings that resemble those of a beagle. I thought "beagle" in the beginning, but he has already doubled in size. He could have some beagle in him, but right now I can't tell what he is. He is very "spastic." By that I mean that he cannot keep still; and he barks incessantly. But he gets along well with the others, so I guess I'll keep him.

My guess would be foxhound/Australian Shepherd, but time will tell!
