The Easter Egg Hunt (video + pics)

Here's a belated Easter thread, I've had to work all weekend so I haven't had much time for PT. We did the annual dog easter egg hunt, this was Skya's first time and she caught on pretty fast. Of course if there's food involved it doesn't take much. As you can see Nebo and Keva are pros at this, they love it.

Here's a few pics (and husky commentary) from today too.

    "Happy Easter..."

"Or as we like to call it, 'stupid-bunny-ears-on-your-head-day' "

"Whoa Skya you are looking way too happy wearing those, somebody might actually think you like them!"

"That's better! We have to look as pathetic as possible when being embarassed like this"

    "Even better, no bunny ears!"

    "Now we'll say HAPPY EASTER!"

The "Egg Hunt" video is a riot!
HOW did you train 'em not to either *crush* or *chew up* the plastic eggs,
and just eat the treat inside?

I kept trying to tell them 'Look UP - blue one - end of the couch - eye level!'

I didn't teach them....just showed them that the eggs contained treats. They are more interested in just popping the egg open and moving to the next one than chewing up the egg. We ended up with one cracked one so somebody chomped one a bit too hard. Keva will start chewing up the eggs after the "hunt" is over so I just have to pick them up after.

Yeah I kept waiting for one to find that one too...you'll notice Skya grabs it at the end.

That was awesome! Our dogs would destroy the eggs... Well At least Zeke would. And Eli would be like Skya, focused on just one the whole time.

The pictures are great too. I love how you always catch Nebo with his tongue sticking out. Thats hilarious.

Love the pics. They look like they are laughing in the second one in the grass. They seem so well behaved looking for their eggs in the video. Thanks for the smiles.

The pictures and video of the Easter egg hunt are so cute.
I'm impressed that they just crack the eggs open for the treats and don't destroy the eggs, they sound pretty crunchy.

(Check your PM's, today is the day you need to get your U2 tickets!)
