    Knitted Kitten

My friends birthday is this weekend and since I'm jobless and broke I can't really afford to buy her anything. I found some leftover black and white yarn and decided to knit her a cat that looked like her own kitty Rufus. Thankfully she is the type that loves and appreciates home made gifts!

    Here is mini Rufus

Thanks for the great signature Kay!

I'm not creative enough to knit without a pattern, so I'll have to see if I can find a similar doggie pattern. Right now I'm trying to finish up a baby blanket before my friend has her baby so when I'm done with that I'll try to take a stab at a husky. If I can't find a pattern I'm sure it would only take a few modifications to change the kitty to a doggie.

The kitten is adorable. I love gifts like this and I'm sure your friend will too. Good luck with your job interview and the hand dyed yarn business.

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.
