With the exception of picking up a gift certificate for my FIL on Thursday(payday) yes!

Of course I may happen to find a few more things for the furkids.

Since I am doing mainly gift cards this year I must wait until I get my bonus (IF we get one) at work or get paid on the 22nd. Then it's off to Safeway. I have bought a few other items. So I am about half way done with shopping. And then I must make batches and batches of brownies as gifts too! There is not enough time in a day for me around this time of year!! LOL

All done, all wrapped. I spent WAAAAYYYYY too much this year. I haven't bought hubby anything though. He doesn't want or need anything and insists he'll get mad if I buy something just for the sake of buying it.

I have one person I'm shopping for, my nephew, and I still have no idea what to get a 20 year old brat, lol.

Mom and dad are getting home made items (which is what they requested).

Mom is getting home made jellies made of pomegranate, mango, apricot, and quince.

Dad is getting home made mustards that I found recipes for.

I just have to buy all the supplies that I don't have yet, which is mostly everything, lol. I want everything fresh, so mom's will be done next week. Dad's mustards need to age a bit, so I'm going to go shopping for those ingredients tomorrow if the weather permits.

I really don't buy many gifts any more so it's pretty easy.

I send a check to both of my brothers so they can buy my nieces and nephews gifts. I buy my co-worker a little something and I usually buy my parents a gift certificate because they really don't need anything and are hard to buy for. I still need to buy my parents a gift certificate and then I'll be done. I may also end up buying my cats something even though they really don't need any more toys.

All the cheques are written and put in the envelopes but I have two more gifts to buy for wee ones that don't know what cash is yet. I find it harder and harder to shop for kids each year since they mostly have everything.

Well I just spoiled my cats yet again.

I bought them a Cat Bird house with Condo from Big Lots and they love it. I threw out the old cat condo that I bought at Big Lots because it was so worn out and looked terrible. I also bought them some new mice. Now I just have to buy my parents a gift certificate and I'll be finished.

I got all of my shopping done tonight. Went to 8 stores, spent hours

and WAY too much money, but I am officially done.

My cats are SO jealous! They just got some cans of kitty food, a few toys, and catnip! And new batteries for their laser light!

Hey you guys giving gift cards: Be careful. I heard many store will not honor them after 12-31-08 because of store closings. I recieved a jcpenny card and have to run and spend it today so I won't lose the value.
