Hiya PT, Andy here. I wanted to say thank you all so much for all of the prayers and well wishes, donations and for making my meowmie feel better about my accident.

I was just a hungry and lonely stray kitty, before I found my forever home. I had an owner once, but she wasn't nice to us. She did not feed us, and threw us outside to fend for ourselves. Her son shot me and my brothers with a pellet gun, it really HURT.

I had lots of kitty friends, but I wanted my own real family. I found my Ma, and I brought my other 4 brothers and sisters with me. I know my momma at the time did not have space and money for us, but she could not leave us outside and alone. She took us all in, within 4 days of each other. I was real happy, she was nice to us. She fed us everyday, and gave us lots of attention and cat beds, and heat- boy, we were in heaven!

But then, my new Ma got mad at my former owner, and told her son to send her over to "speak" to her. Man, I have NEVER seen my momma get so mad, and so close to hitting someone in her life! And the language, I could not believe it! She said I was HER cat, and that I was going NOWHERE! YAYAYAYAY! SHE LOVES ME!


She did take us to get us fixed and shots, that was NOT fun, but she says it was for the best, so I guess it was.

At one point, Ma thought she would have to rehome us. Her landlord said we get out OR SHE gets out. She tried to find us a rescue, but they backed out, and she told me, she was so glad. Next move, she decided to heck with renting, she wanted ALL of her kitties, and her and daddy decided to BUY us a house! A nice big one, enough for us to STAY TOGETHER forever. She was so happy she cried. I knew after that, we were all in this together.

I am very happy here, and I know my Ma did not mean to hurt me. I am so glad she has friends on PT that she can depend on. She would have never forgiven herself if something happened to me, or the other kitties. NEVER EVER. She loves us, more than herself, because she would do anything for us I think.

Thank you all so much for helping my momma get through this. And thank you for loving an alley cat such as myself! Afterall, I am quite handsome, and real sweet too! If you were here, I would give you so many head bumpies and gum rubs, you would have to push me away!

Andy did you write that sign yourself? Oh Katie these pictures just melt me. Your sweetie looks so good and I couldn't be happier. I didn't know how you came to get him and his siblings until now. What a sweet story and what a happy little fur family they make. Andy will still be one handsome little boy even after his widdle ear surgery. This will be one Thanksgiving to remember. There is so much to be thankful for now that he is well on the road to recovery!

Andy, it's so good to see you home, relaxing with your sisters/brothers and getting spoiled by mommy. But ouch, that ear doesn't look so good - I hope it's not painful. Once you have it operated, I'm sure you will feel better.

Yes Pam, I did do that sign myself ( Ma is letting me take the blame because of her HORRIBLE handwriting and creative skills)

Randi, Yes it hurts sometimes, but I am on ear cream with pain reliever, Metacam and buprenex for the pain, so once I get my dose, I feel MUCH better and become a very peppy cat.

And I agree, I will be quite handsome even with parts missing! Atleast my Ma thinks so
