Possible new addition... within the next 6 months..

    Just a heads up..

My parents are completely heartbroken over losing sweet Rosie.. (and so am I) and they are wanting to add a puppy to the household.. and I understand how it is. So I am thinking that will happen within the next 6 months. Anna is very lonely and sad, and she keeps looking out at the front door to see if Rosie would come back. We are really worried about Anna.. she is very depressed and withdrawn from everything right now. We do not know what kind of dog it will be, but it will be a puppy. It doesn't matter to us whatever breed it will be. It will be a girl, and whatever it is, whatever dog is "supposed" to be sent to us by little Rosie, we will know.. Her name will have a "ie" at the end, so, I have to figure out what names are that.. so, just a heads up.

Today, I was sitting in class thinking about Rosie, and how much I am going to miss her crazy, little annoying habits on how she wanted a treat, a blanket so she could sleep on it, and I started laughing, yes, I started laughing, because I realized, she did have us TRAINED! Oh Rosie.

Nothing beats a new puppy (or dog) to love to help heal a broken heart. Will be watching for puppy news.

I was looking at the puppy you posted about, and saw this one on there too.

And this one. Not sure how far either of these pups are from you guys.

Cross your fingers. It is a possible addition... and my parents would not be so sad, including Anna..

She already has a name, either "Riley" or "Colby" so far..

    Possible... maybe....

We are very, very, very interested in either of the two:

    Sherman:

    Toffee:

My parents will be calling the animal shelter about them tomorrow.

    So we'll see.

    They both are retriever/beagle mixes.

    I have no idea!

I am leaving it up to my parents, but they keep coming to me to see which one I think would be a good fit... it's hard!! We MIGHT end up adopting a boy instead of a girl, but who knows? Like I said, whatever the right puppy is, he/she will pick us.

Well MY jaw about dropped when I saw that cute little boy with the white pawsies name! (Gotta be a good dog!) They are both adorable. I know you'll pick the "right one."

Just to share our experience, Star was also extremely depressed after we lost Sherman, and we introduced Jack about a month later... but Star seemed to withdraw a bit more for a while. I think she was still grieving & just not quite up for a stranger to be in her territory yet. We were worried as she seemed more depressed than ever. It took a couple months.
Anna may need a little time to get used to the puppy, but I'm sure she'll come to appreciate the company. I know Star has - she & Jack are great friends now.

Ohhhh, I love Sherman's little white feetsies.
I can't wait to see which puppy chooses your family as their furrever home.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
