    Jack's Memory Box

This is my memory box that I have been making for Jack with Kevin and Sunny's help. I wanted to have a memory box especially for him, making it has helped me in my grief and it has been very theraputic, although sad that I'm making it but it has also given me happiness in that I have been able to make my own tribute to his memory.
The box is 12" x 12" and has his album, donut bed, favourite laser toy, fork, his favourite play tunnel, his scratching post, feeding mat, his cat DVD and his collar. I wear his ID tag on my own chain around my neck. He also has a blanket but I sleep with his blanket under my pillow presently.
I'm so happy with his album, it has taken us weeks to make, doing a couple of hourse every so often. I bought all the stickers and backgrounds off various scrapbooking websites on the internet. It was a lot of fun to make and I know that Jack would be very proud of it. It has 26 pages double sided.
It has various cat embellishments, stickers, quotes etc on the pages, the backgrounds are all cat themed.
Here are some pictures of the box and the album for you to see.

I have also included a picture of my tatoo that I have had done on my foot for Jack. This is my personal tribute to him and to how special and important he was in my life. I know no other cat will ever touch me the way he did, he changed my life in a lot of ways, and he will always be number one and special in my heart for the rest of my life.

I hope you all like his album and memory box, I am so happy with it.

Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

That is so sweet, and just gorgeous. It brings tears to my eyes, because it must be so hard to do, giving you happiness and closure, but still sad at missing him. Tears at hearing about his blanket under your pillow...

Thank you so much for sharing the pics, and the tattoo. It is all wonderful.
