    Meet Moose

My brother always said he wanted a cat or two when he got out of the marines and he finally got out a few months ago but since we had a couple trip plans he wanted to wait, well now that we're done with our trips for the most part we decided to go out and get a kitten today.
we tried to get my cat, blaze, back from my other brother but he wouldnt budge lol he loves that cat too much.

We sat out to get an 8 week old kitten that would be white with unique markings or an all white long haired kitty.
My brother said he didnt want an older kitten nor did he want a black kitty

well we called up a lady that had an add in the paper and went out to look at the 5 kittens she had.

turns out they were almost 4 months old and 4 of them were black and the other was grey tiger stripe with white paws lol
so we were going to say no thank you but this lady was so incredibly sweet and really wanted to find good homes for the kittens cause her husband is deathly allergic to them and they were living in their horse barn.
I don't know the story behind the momma but she said she thinks she got killed by a coyote(they live out in the country)
so anyways we decided to take one home cause he was sooo sweet.
she even said if it didn't work out we could bring him back but that won't be happening!
and she was so happy that he was going to an indoor home

He obviously was a little scared when we first got home cause he had never been indoors but he is adjusting well and he is as sweet as can be!
tomorrow we are going to look at a litter of 8 week old kittens that a lady has tomorrow to maybe bring another one home..

    but here is moose

he found safety in the cat house thingy(gah cant even remember what it's called ops: )

    coaxing him out

Congrats!!! What an adorable little black kitten. He looks like a little panther.
I was surprised to see that he was black since you said that your brother didn't want a black one. I expected to see the the grey and white one instead.

Oh he's so cute- and I think 4 months is a very good age for kittens: lots of fun (and mischief). I think his nose says he will be a big boy

I am glad that he was adopted by a loving home too! It is SO hard to adopt out black, and black and white kitties.

    He is VERY handsome.. CONGRATS!

I have always wanted a brown tabby, I ended up with 7 black in whites, 2 torties, a blackie, grey white, orange, white, grey and a siamese and STILL no brown tabby! I guess you cant help who you fall in love with. And after awhile, he wont even notice his coloring

    Thank you so much Michelle!
