    Creating an invoice - how?

So I don't know how to create an invoice, never had to until now. I just ended doing a project with someone, and she wants me to create a invoice so how would you create one? I am lost. I have 98' Microsoft Word.. Thanks.

Just make up some letterhead, then put her name and address at the left. In the center of the page put "Invoice" and then below that, list whatever work you did, and what it costs her.

It doesn't need to be fancy, but businesses need invoices for their records.

Make sure you date it as well.

    And give it a number!

When you decide which layout you want to use, stick to it and make a template for future use!

Of course, if you have InDesign on your machine, you can design your own.

You can download excel templates from the web. Here's a listing for "invoice". http://office.microsoft.com/en-us/te...oice&av=TPL000
