    Goodbye Arthur C Clarke!

    One of the most respected Sci Fi writers has gone to see the stars.

    ACC was 90 years old and gave me hours of pleasure and the desire to look up and dream.

    I will miss him, Richard; His was some of the earliest ( and best!) sci-fi I ever read and the reason I am such a big fan of the genre to this day!

    A wonderful man. I may just have to go and read one of his old books. Apparently he just reviewed the manuscript for his latest book a few days ago - nice that he was still able to do that.
