    Photos of Finn!

Here are the photos I promised from this past weekend's Dock Dogs event in Gonzales, Louisiana. We had a blast, I can't believe we forgot the camera to video tape his jumps, though. Oh, well. These photos will have to do!

Here's Finn, bringing the EV bumper down (it's somewhere between 5' and 5'4").

This is where I set him up for a Big Air jump, all the way back at 40 feet. It looks like he's being sweet and giving me a kiss, but what he's actually doing is barking practically in my mouth as I tell him to sit. He just about breaks my eardrums when I'm setting him up.

    Hauling butt!

    Trying to get that bumper!

He was tucking himself in, trying to get the bumper.

I let him run with the bumper while I put his leash down at the exit gate, we have fun running up there with eachother.

    Crazy legs!

I love these next three...this is his softer side. We are waiting our turn in these photos.

You can see his new Zuke's patch on his vest. It turned out great, and we are proud to represent their products! I hope you guys enjoyed these photos. I will poke around and see if I can find some recent ones, I haven't done a ton of Finn photography since we moved out of our house. But, I think I have a few!

Great photo shots. I think that is so cool that you do things like that with your dog. was it difficult to teach him or did he just take to it naturally?

I never thought I'd get this into a dog sport. But, it is so much more than that, it's a great excuse to travel, we meet so many people who understand how much we love Finn, and it really makes him so so happy to do it. It's definitely what he was put here to do. Besides make me the happiest girl ever, of course. He completely took to it, immediately. The only thing I really work on is my throws...the timing, the speed, the height, the distance, it's actually really hard to get it just right for him. I'm sure he has at least a couple more feet in him, I just have to figure it out!

Here are some random photos that I've taken in the past couple months. I may have posted a couple of these already, sorry if they're repeats.

Finn's begging David to throw the frog.

"I'm gonna eat you!" says Finn to the frog!

And, then I'm gonna sleep on you. That's the frog under his head.

    Super Finn.

    Finn smelling some tulips.

This is our new apartment. It's way smaller, but we have all that space right outside our building, it's wonderful! There's a creek right next to the walkway there...and then there's a pond right across the street. Here's Finn, relaxing on the balcony.

These next few "action" shots really show how lean and muscular he has gotten in the last year.

    My handsome puppy.

    One more post...

Finn is such an amazing jumper! He looks like he loves what he does. The very last one you posted makes me think of a lab out in the field flushing birds. He is such a handsom boy!
