I've been BOO'd!!! Thanks Lori!
Oh what a great way to end my evening! Thanks for finding and posting this one!
I love it, the first time the raccoon comes up, the cat TRIES to protect the dish, gives a few bats on the head, but the raccoon is determined. As the raccoon departs, fists full of food, the cat LOOKS AT THE CAMERA! "Hey, a little HELP over here, please?" he he hee.
.
I know I love this one. If I was there, I would make the raccoon his own little dish!![]()
I used to hand feed opossums at the old house. I sure miss them alot![]()

EEEEK!!! You hand fed opossums?! Yikes! Those suckers are so freaky looking, lol! I remember seeing them up at my mom and dad's on the farm, and I do not miss those suckers! I was never a big fan of ground hogs either... I got chased down a back road by one of them when I was about 14!Originally Posted by kt_luvs_kitties

When I used to live in S.C. we would go to Hunting Island every summer and rent a house and there were many racoons around. They would come up to the screened in porch and we would hand feed them. One time there was a mother with her babies. I wasn't ever afraid of them. We were told to never leave any food on the porch because if we did they'd rip through the screen to get to it. They'd also try to get into the garbage cans.
Raccoons are mostly nocturnal and when I see one during the day, I'm concerned that it might be rabid. Raccoons can badly injure or even kill a cat and, though I would never purposely harm one, I would definitely discourage it from coming into my yard, especially if I had outdoor cats. It's a cute video, though.

All things work together for good to them that love God.

I've been defrosted-- Thanks, Sana
It is cute, but can't the raccoon hurt the cat?? I'd be worried about that one. I know they can do some damage to dogs if they fight.
