    Enjoying the warmth...

For the first time in weeks, it warmed up to above -25C today, all the way to -15C(5F). Felt like spring!

So we went for a long, slow run this morning. There hadn't been anyone out for ages and even the trail we broke last Monday had vanished. The dogs had fun though. It was about perfect sledding weather--not to warm for the dogs, not so cold the human's life is at risk!

Pirate helped me clean up afterwards. Probably had a little flashback to her younger days!

Pacer getting up from a nap in the snow.

Earle and Pirate making friends. Everyone loves Earle.

Pingo chowing down on a moose bone. She was pretty happy to get left behind today! I think Pingo wants to retire.

Chum just being Chum. That dog is not quite right!

    Anvik singing to the sun.

A little pack hanging out in front of the house. First time in ages they weren't pushing me out of the way to get back inside!

Looks like the dogs are definitely enjoying the weather being a bit warmer. Great pictures.

    WOW!
    "Only" -25C ... a bloody HEAT WAVE!

    Sure doesn't *LOOK* like Spring!

Maybe Pirate was trying to slip into that pulling harness?

Glad you're all Happie with the warming trend.

Chum had me laughing with his ears. It's like the stick out from the side of his head rather than the top.

All of the pics were fantastic.

Hmm, Pacer doesn't look quite awake yet... Can't help but giggle looking at Chum, he's a funny-looking boy. Where in the world did those Yoda ears come from? He's got such striking blue eyes, though. Love that pic of Anvik singing, if it was that cold here I'd be singing to the sun, too! Nice pictures of everyone. So glad Pirate is fitting right in.

**Sigh** Tamara, to you, these may be just ordinary every day views, nothing special. But to some of us here on PT -- ME in particular -- they are so charming! Thanks for sharing.

Ani, can I come north and sing with you? (I'm happy when the sun shines too!) Everyone loves Earle - that includes me! It looks lke Earle and Pirate are exchanging secrets. Pirate, great job helping mom tidy up. I'd like to retire with Pingo! And Chum, I love your beautiful blue eyes. Glacier, I'm with Freedom about these family pictures! They're wonderful! *HUGS*

LOL, Yoda is Chum's nickname. He answers to it almost as well as he does to Chum!
