For me, when I hear this song, "Guys like Me" by Eric Church, it makes me think of Mike. Everything in that song is exactly the type of guy he is.

I know what you mean!!! Before i met S.O. it was an average of two weeks before I'd dumped a guy. I had no plans to settle down until i was 26 (figured that was plenty of time to get through college, get my own place, a decent job, and a great dog.) Then S.O. comes along and it was like the universe threw us at each other. Threw my plans all to heck. I couldn't be happier though. I truly love him, he's so totally awesome and loving, and best of all... because of him i was able to bring King into my life.

out of about 20 relationships i had two that lasted over a month (not including S.O.)

That's true.. that's how I was...until Mike came along. I never really had long term relationships but I knew I was capable of it, it took a long time until Mike. I dated a lot, from 2 weeks to 2 months... and in the middle of it.. I never considered them as boyfriends, because it was never offical.. until the guy before Mike, I did consider him one, but it only lasted 2 1/2 months.. but you know what, I am pretty happy.

wow...never even thought about it. The one song I hear that reminds me immediately of hubby is 'Caro Amore' by Fabrizio de André probably cause it was the first song he ever sent me to listen to. Another would be Iris by the Goo Goo Dolls as we spent 2 years trying to be together. He was in Italy and I in Canada. We seen each other only 2 times in those 2 years and it was a difficult time. Also Bring Me To Life by Evanescence because when I realized my feelings for him it was like a rebirth. I had not felt anything quite so intense before him.
