Weird, my family & I were talking about the exact same thing today when we were out.
All this morning my sister's dog, Skylar, sat in the living room with my mum watching the news. He loves watching tv. :]

Only if there's another dog barking or whining on the screen, then the shepherd gets intrigued, the rest ignore.

Duke is only interested in Doggy noises on TV, otherwise he could care less. Now my Kitty Autumn watches it all the time!

My girls do every once in awhile. Mostly if it is a dog show. Especially Katie. She loves watching the Westminster with me. I swear she actually sits there and watches it. Its so funny. I have pictures of them watching it.

T.j and Zoey both ignore the T.V, but if Sage hears any dog bark, he will watch the t.v for a long time.
Thanks so much Ashley for the siggy!

I rarely have anything but the computer on. How are my pets supposed to watch TV if i don't? lol.

King only paid attention to the TV ONCE, and it was when someone squeaked a squeak toy.

Koli watched it from time to time at first. No idea if she watches it at the other foster home.

S.O.'s betta has no access to TV viewing.

The dust bunnies turn on the TV and throw parties when I'm asleep. I just know it!

Please, if your dog is arthritic look into getting it Elk Velvet Antler. Look up my posts on it, PM me, or look it up on a search engine; but please if you love your dog and want it to live many more years consider this option. I've seen so many posts on here about dogs needlessly suffering. I can't make a new post about EVA every time so this plea is going here. EVA also helps with other ailments such as anemia.

Eric has a DPL projector so we often watch movies on the big screen on the weekend. The cats love it when we play nature videos (we often get videos for them, like underwater ones, bug videos, etc.). They will watch those for a long time and sometimes try to "catch" the animals.

The dogs don't really watch it except Adele likes "The Twilight Zone" and will watch it with us.

Oh yes, occasionally Fister likes to watch F1, football, any programs with birds flying around, and the credits.

On the rare occasions that I have my TV on, the cats attack it.

Zoee watches TV but goes ballistic if any kind of animal comes on, even cartoons. But she seems to be getting better about it.
Taz watches TV sometimes. Usually he'll just curl up and snuggle with me while I'm watching.
Our goal in life should be - to be as good a person as our dog thinks we are.

Thank you for the siggy, Michelle!
