Why I don't do anything Disney..

Or at least I try not to.

In the last week Disney, the paragon of morality and family values, has decided to cancel a concert at the Anaheim House of Blues because the band appearing at the show was not keeping within the bounds of good taste that the company upholds.

An 18 year old star of a musical bankrolled by Disney took some nude pictures that appeared on the internet recently.

Disney, because of the success of that show, put out a statement saying that the girl "made a mistake" and the nude pictures are nothing..

    -----------------

I saw a promo for a Disney movie- get this- The storyline is about a football player who ends up with a daughter he knows nothing about.

I can see how this movie was pitched!

A football player has a one night stand that results in a child he knows nothing about.

The kid shows up a few years later and puts a damper on his batchelor life.
The player reforms himself and they become a loving family.

    The end.

    Again,
A fairy tale ending to a really bad, stupid choice in life.

    Ack!
The secret of life is nothing at all

Hey you, don't tell me there's no hope at all -
    Together we stand
    Divided we fall.

    I laugh, therefore? I am.

I like Disney movies, at least the older ones. I think old Walt would roll over in his grave if he saw some of the things his studio produces today.

Is that that stupid High School Musical thing? With Vanessa Hudgens? Personally, I hate High School Musical with a burning passion. But that girl, you could tell from the beginning there was something wrong with her.

Honestly, if I was in charge of Disney, I would keep the musical, but get rid of the girl. Disney is supposed to be a family-oriented company, and the last time I checked porno wasn't for kids.
