    I'm so glad I had the opportunity to see him perform live many times at the San Francisco Opera. RIP big guy and give them one hell of a songfest with your glorious arias upstairs.

    He had one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. He was really something. RIP, I hope the angels enjoy your voice as much as we here on earth did.

    With the wonders of modern technology that voice will never be forgotten. I first saw him in Australia in the early 60s.
