    My new chicken

I think i'm going to call him Lester He is a handicapped little guy. He came from a student at the school I graduated from. He took him to my teacher and asked her to watch him while he was on "vacation" and never got him back. He is a frizzle turken rooster. In his old flock he was picked on and not allowed to eat so he is extremely skinny and has no muscle mass in his legs or chest. His feathers are all ratty and missing he just looks so pitiful...Here are some pics of him. Hopefully I can get him better and walking and get him a couple of girls to keep him company.

AWWW! Lester looks sad, but I think you did an awesome thing by taking him. I know he'll be happy with you.

I use to have a little muscovy duck that was kinda handicapped--she couldn't walk right because her legs curled up and she had to walk on her knees and use her wings to support herself. I loved her to death though and couldn't have ever found a better duck--she was so special.

I know you're gonna love Lester so much too. Give him a while and I'm sure his feathers will start growing in all those bald and bloody looking places and he'll be strong and beautiful!!
