    Niño is proud of himself....

Dispite deciding to get really hyper right before our turn in the 4-H Obedience show due to my parents arriving right as we were walking into the ring, we did well enough to pull a tie for 2nd out of around 10. I bet Niño was the oldest dog there though.
Niño did his finish great and figure 8 went a lot better than I thought it was. The long sit-stay was later, after he'd calmed down a bit luckily. Lots of dogs got up a lot, but I made the mistake of looking him in the eyes and he got nervous once and got up, but then stayed the rest of the time. The 3 minute down was so good! Niño didn't even move, I never had to tell him stay again, and I went the last minute with my hands behind my back, gaining lots of points!
I bombed showmanship, when they asked me where the pastern was I got really nervous and confused as usual under preassure and my mind went blank. I pointed to the hock.
Overall, Niño and I had so much fun, I can't wait til next year! I'm also going to see about getting him CGC tested, and I'm sending in his registration to the American Pet Dog Trainers Rally Obedience so we can compete more.
I made this cute sig, but right now I'm using the one from the sig swap because it's so cool.
