    My Adventure with Anvik...by Tehya....

    WOOOO PT,

Today my Mom was going to go paddling in her kayak, but she just didn't feel like unloading it. So she came home and I wooed her into taking me for a walk instead. She was feeling a little guilty cuz I haven't been out for a few days! Then I wooed "hey, let's take Anvik." Mom didn't think that was a good idea at first, but I used mind control on her and she agreed. Anvik ain't never been off leash before, at least not when he was allowed! Jumping the fence doesn't count! Mom got some good treats, put a new tag on his collar
cuz he lost his somehow, she said a little prayer and she kicked the gate open.

And off we went, flying down the trail! Mom's first thought was "oh, this was a bad idea". But...

Anvik stopped to smell some flowers and waited for the pokey human to catch up! You humans walk way slow!

See how patient Anvik is, just stanidn there waiting for Mom! Notice that I am moving along! I know this trail and I know Mom won't leave us out there! Anvik worries more about, well, about everything!

We were headed for the lake, but there were lots of places to get drinks before that! Aren't we cute doing our synchronized drinking?

And we got some treats, if we sat nice and didn't act like Hooligans! Mom says I am a little hooligan sometimes! Usually when I put pawprints on her clean shirt!

Lots more coming! Stay tuned PT!

Eventually we got to the lake. It was kinda warm today so it was nice to get cooled off.

I am starting to like the water more and more!

Anvik went swimming too. I don't think he meant to though. He was running around and all of the sudden he just charged into the lake! He had no choice but to start swimming!

It's always a good idea to go over by the human to shake off after a swim. Humans need to cool down too!

See, Anvik is scrawny! A few weeks ago you could see all of his ribs and backbone! That's why he gets extra foodies now. Mom says being nervous burns lots of calories. I wouldn't know since I ain't nervous or scared of nothing!

After our swim, we played Silly Bugger. It's a great game. You run around in circles as fast as you can, making lots of noise and wrestling with your friends. Try it sometime!

Anvik looks like he's eating my head, but we were just playing. Anvik doesn't have a mean bone in his whole body.

There's still a few more pics. Mom was snap happy today!

Daisy tried to play with us, but she is just too slow! She just barked alot instead. She's noisy!

I think Anvik likes being loose!

I am one smart puppy! Taking Anvik was a great idea. I think Mom agrees. She said "the two of you tired is always a good thing"....whatever, human!

Tehya ~ Thank you for sharing your walk with us. I gotta ask ya, though... Are you sure this game is called Silly Bugger? The way you're kicking your back foot out reminds me of the Hokey Pokey. "Put your right foot in. Take your right foot out. Put your right foot in and shake it all about..........."

    WOOO Ms. Lisa

That's what we call it because that's what Mom calls us when we play it. She always laughs at us and says we are silly buggers! I just have to add my own little flair to the game!

That Hokey Pokey game sounds like fun too. I gotta go find Anvik and see if he wants to play it with me!

    Idea!

Maybe if you bought the FurPups their OWN Kyak,

Woooooo, Tehya! You can shake on me and put your muddy paw prints on my tee shirt any time. It looks like you and Anvik and your mom walked along a very pretty route! I like the lake and the flowers Anvik stopped to smell. I hope you both gave your mom lots of things to smile about. I sure enjoy the photos and stories of all the interesting things you do. Tell all your other dog and cat family members hello for me and thank you for sharing your lovely walk.
