The Proper Way to Bath Cats !!!!!

They are some cute kitties even though they appear less than thrilled about the whole thing. I have never gotten the courage to bathe my cats so I rely on them to do it themselves. I would love to give Trevor a good bath (his fur sometimes looks like he could use some help with his home grooming) but at his age I don't want to scare him to death. My daughter has bathed one of her cats very successfully (long haired cat) since she was a kitten and is quite OK with the whole process.

I also am not brave enough to bathe a cat. I had a persian once that was allergic to fleas and tried bathing her and she would rip me apart so that taught me to never try that again with any cat!

Those poor wet kitties just look so pitiful.

Aw, how sweet. I recently have had to bathe my Creamsicle because she had an infection in her hair follicles and the shampoo was medicated to help dry up the sores. She was so good but every time I reached for the camera, she'd try to bolt, so I never did get any pix. I wish I had because she looked just so sweet and pathetic. Your cats are adorable!
