Under Cover

I was just wondering, do other dogs like to sleep covered up or is this just a Chihuahua thing? My chihuahua "builds" her blanket into a tent and then crawls in and out. So do any of your dogs like to sleep underneath something?

Sometimes Fenway will sleep under the blankets. Usually in the winter.

I have a chihuahua and two boxers. Everynight I cover my two boxers up in their beds before I go to sleep. If I wake up in the night most times I will notice that they are still covered, so I guess they like it. They never just get under the covers themselves though.

Neither of my dogs liked to sleep under the covers. However, I have babysat a Chihuahua and his Tibetan Terrier sister, and they both love to sleep under the covers.

During the winter, I'd wake up to discover Sugar had worked her way under the blankets with me. Now it is warm and she doesn't even want to be on the bed with me and the cats.

Sometimes Zoee won't mind if I throw a blanket on her while she is lounging with me on the couch.
But my mom's min pin always has to sleep wrapped up in a blanket with just his little nose sticking out.

My RB Little Dog (Yorkie) slept with me EVERY night that she could. She decided to sleep with me the first night (but at the foot of the bed cause, as she was previously abused, wasn't too sure of me yet). My dad discovered her the next morning and gave her *THE LOOK* (as he did not approve of dogs on the furniture). After a few nights of trying, and failing miserably , to get her to sleep in a dog bed, he eventually gave up and the rest is history.

My Chihuahua sleeps with me off and on. Sometimes she has to stay in the crate overnight when she has a potty accident at night. She is definitely a blanket tunnel maker.
