Thought I would share - New Camera, New Pics! :)

Hey everyone! I haven't been around much since Nakita passed away in January but thought I would stop by. Rob surprised me with a new SLR as an early birthday present and thought I would share some test pics with you.

I'm really enjoying the camera and can't wait to get a macro lens. I took some basic macro pics, but the current lens I'm using isn't really meant for that type of photography so they are not as clear as I would like.

Rob was my first test victim. I took these in the evening, by the lake. The lighting conditions were wonderful at that time of day.

Those Are Such Wonderful Photos And We Know That Nakita Is Still With You , And Wants You To Know That Shes Doing Well As A Pet Angel.
And That One Day You Will See A Cat Who Needs A Home And Adoprt Her. Nakita Will Be So Proud And Happy As The Found Cat Angels Are When A New Arrival Comes To The Hotel.

What kind of camera did you get?

The camera is a Canon Rebel. These are the first pictures I took with it so they're not that bad. Once I get more familiar and comfortable with the camera, the pics should improve.

I was just thinking of you a few days before you posted this and I was wondering how are you. We have a pretty (very preggy) grey kitty that comes to our house sometimes and that reminded me of Nakita.

I couldn't see the pictures at the office, but hey, Great photography! I too love Canon - I had a simple Canon before, now I have a nice Fuji, but it's not comparable with Canon. When I get more comfortable with my new job and I get more time on my hands, I want to read a little more about photography, I followed the links you gave in an older post and I have found a few more articles on that - just need to put it into practice.
