Out and About with Chase and Goldie...pics

After Tehya's walk yesterday, I took Chase and Goldie out for hike.

They are such a goofy pair..he's so long and lean and she's short and fat! But they are very good friends and I am always glad Chase let himself into her pen! He is the only dog she has ever been able to live with all the time without any trouble. Goldie is particular about her canine buddies.

Chase stretching his legs. This field is part of an abandoned campground. The dogs seem to think it's their personal doggy park. They always go nuts running in the big open area!

Goldie checking out the old cooking fire at the campground.

She was a happy girl. I love watching her run. For a long time a big walk was out of the question for Goldie--too much pain. Now she can run as fast as her short legs will let her and she loves to go off the trails to explore in the bush.

Happy Chase! It's easy to be happy all the time when you have no brains! I say with great love, cuz I do adore Chase, but he is the dumbest dog I've ever met! Sweet, loving, goofy, happy, but not the brightest crayon in the box! He grew up in the shelter, spent 18 months there. That will do funny things to a dog's head!

He is good to Goldie though. He always comes back to check on her, never gets too far ahead, even though his much younger and faster than her!

Daisy tagged along on this walk too, but she was smart enough to remember Goldie hates her! She left both Chase and Goldie alone and amused herself with a stick!

What a great adventure! I love hearing about Chase & Goldie, they're such dear friends, it just makes me smile! Daisy certainly looks like she had a blast on her own. I love that picture of Goldie on the cooking fire, she's such a pretty fluffy girl.

If Chase is good enough for Goldie, he must be a super sweet fella. They
look like they enjoyed themselves.Daisy is looking good too. I've said this
before, but I'm so happy that Daisy has her second home at your place.

Aw, I think they are a perfect pair. He sure is a handsome buy, and Goldie is so cute. That is quite a winter coat she is still sporting, but I guess up there she needs it. I love their special bond. Daisy is such a cute dog; glad she found a way to keep herself occupied.

Beautiful pictures of gorgeous dogs. I like how Chase stays between the water and Goldie. What a good protector! Even if he is a few screws short upstairs. He knows what's important..........Goldie!!!

Your dogs are beautiful as always, they seem well-trained not to runaway. Daisy is really attached to you guys, eh? I think she may be confused on WHO actually "owns" her, lol. She's so cute, what a silly girl.

Some of them are. Some would vanish into the mist given half a chance! They are huskies so trustworthy off leash is always iffy!

I'm sure Daisy just figures all dogs have two families! She's been hanging out here since she was pretty much a puppy! She's a silly girl.

Tehya you are just the most special baby - I've been reading all your threads with the biggest smile on my face. Your spirit is so sweet and it's pretty obvious that your Mom, Dad and fursibs think you're awesome too

Keep up the good work lil girl - we all love you

BBBRRRR...I see you still have ice on the water. Is it still cold up there?

It looks like your dogs had allot of fun, running around the woods an checking things out.
I love Fenway, JoJo, Olivia and Nonnie!
