    - Tango - *19 pictures*

Here are some pictures I took of Tango earlier on our walk. There aren't many, as unfortunately it wasn't a very good walk and she got attacked by another dog shortly after most of these were taken. Thankfully she is alright though, physically. Just a few minor puncture wounds. But now she's regressed 100% mentally and I have to start all over with getting her used to strange dogs. That was without a doubt one of the scariest/worst moments of my entire life, but I'm just glad that it wasn't as bad as it could have been.

    Anyway, here are the pictures...

Here are a few taken this morning and before we left:

    More coming....

Tango is such a pretty girl. Sorry she got attacked, though! I am so glad she's alright! Was the dog a stray that attacked her?

    Thanks, Krista.

No, the dog who attacked her wasn't a stray. Some guy was walking his two dogs (a Rottie and a Pittie) without leashes on (he didn't even have any leashes with him) and they were running around totally out of control. His Pit came running across the field and grabbed Tango by the neck, shaking her. She didn't even warrant the attack, as she had made no eye contact with the dog and was walking very calmy, tail down, etc. beside me on her leash. She didn't have an aggressive posture at all. The dog's owner didn't do a thing about it and came slowly walking across the field, called his dog once and carried on down an alley without a care in the world, while in the meantime, his dog was still on Tango and I was trying to get him off (finally he did let go and another man grabbed the dog and helped me). The dog's owner didn't apologize or anything, just continued walking, assuming his dog would follow I guess. He finally came back to get the dog and told me I should have my dog under control and left. People like him shouldn't even own dogs, let alone the two breeds he had.

Oh no Tango!! Having one dog with severe public anxiety and another who missed out on socialization, I can understand how hard it is to desensitize a dog and how one bad experience can really ruin a lot of your hard work =( I'm glad to hear she's okay physically though. Here's lots of hugs and kisses to your beautiful little girl!

OMG! I felt my heart pop into my throat! I'm relieved that Tango wasn't seriously hurt but so upset that all the progress you made with her, is now down the tubes. Poor Tango can't get a break.

I'm so appalled and angry at that "owner" that I can't see straight! If it eases your pain, know that my back neighbor NEVER apologized to me for what happened, just called it "an unfortunate accident". I think people "get it" just fine, they just don't care. It's a pretty good reflection on what kind of humans they are in general.

Bottom line is that precious Tango, my luvvie, is going to be OK physically. Please Please give her a million kisses for me. My heart melts when I see her face.

    I've been Boooo'd!

I cannot tell you how angry your experience makes me. You know I love that gorgeous girl of yours, and anyone who cause her any harm is a sorry excuse for a human being. He knows he was in the wrong, which is why he kept walking.
Thank you for sharing those pictures of that beautiful little girl. And I truly hope that getting her confidence back up is not as difficult as you think.

Thanks everyone!! Your comments really do mean a lot to me.

Like I said before, I'm just so gald that things turned out the way they did. It could have been so much worse.
