Spring time is here! (some photos)

Nothing special, but as my doctor told me to try to relax and do some things I like, I thought I'd try to take some photos. Within the couple of days, the entire world turned into green here, and it is this beautiful fresh lightgreen that I really like.

    Look:

These two were taken last weekend, the roofs of my hometown:

This, however, is also a part of the sunny season:

Oh yes, the sky is extremely blue these days, there's nothing photoshopped in these pictures!

And yes, I can take photos of the same spots, it's the forest behind my parents restaurant, which is here. I also took the photos of the roofs from there.

Kristen these are awesome. It was fun seeing your home town. I love the unusual architecture in Germany. It is different than anything here in the US. Your lilacs are ahead of mine. Of course with the warm weather come the bees but they are beautiful aren't they? Thank you for treating us to your photos. Your photography is excellent.

I just love it when the sky is that deep blue with no clouds. That's my favorite sky. And the town shots are charming. They're my favorite.

I did the right thing by setting you free
But the pain is very deep.
If only I could turn back time, forever, you I'd keep.

Kirsten, this could be a picture postcard! I love it! Especially the turret of the building just to the left of center, and the trim along the roof on the building just to the right of center. May I show this to co-workers?

I too enjoyed your pictures so much and even though I liked them all the rooftop picture is perhaps my favorite. Just beautiful. I feel fortunate to be an armchair travelor today.

    Thank you very much!!

Yes, I too like the architecture of these old builings! Not all houses here in Germany look like that, but the ones in the photos are very old, some of them maybe 700 or 800 years, that's how old our town is, and these half-timberted houses were built in the Middle Ages!

It's very strange about the lilac! They're far ahead of their time! But we literally had no winter, and we already had several heat records this year, so nature is totally messed up. Geez, Germany will turn into a tropical country when it's going on like this!

@cassiesmom: Yes, of course you can show it to your co-workers!

I think we have the most wonderful spring for years and years now

Here the lilacs are also in flowers- and that normally happens 3 weeks later.

Kirsten, thank you for the pics. If only you could photograph the fragrance as well
