    Should I be concerned?

My back deck is about 19 years old, made from pressure treated lumber. I put Fender out there with his toys this morning while I was having breakfast. Anyway, he managed to eat a little piece of wood that had broken off from the deck. It's the size of a thumb from the tip to the first joint. Would Fender be at risk of arsenic poisoning??

I wouldnt think that such a small piece would cause any harm, but I would call my vet and ask them just to be safe.

You can check with the ER vet on the phone as this is a Sunday, or you could call the Animal Poison Control. Someone jsut posted their toll free number in one of the recall threads, you should be able to use the search function to find it.

I doubt he is at risk either.

Fender, PLEASE stick to the chewies and bones mom gives to you!!!!
