My son is actually uspet by the ordeal, as he is missing his big Valentines Day Party at school! so far we have about 6 inches, and we are expected to get 24-36 by tonight! This will be for us, the largest snow storm in february since 1972! we are all snuggled in with teh woodstove going! well all of us, except hubby, who actually was one of the few that had to go to work today! Oh well!

Woooooweeeee is it a Blizzard out there!!!
    (but I love it! )

We got 18" of snow on the ground, but the worst part of it is the drifting because it's blowing SOOOO much!
I opened the back door to let the pups out this am and they were greeted by a 3 1/2 foot snow drift. They looked at me as if they were asking me to shovel them a path!
So I shoved them out the door, they bounded through the drifts and had a romp in the snow for a while! They loved it!
Then the hubby and I had to shovel the driveway for an hour and a half.
We had a 4 foot wall at the end of our drive from the county snow plows
I was only 45 mins late for work... not too bad concidering EVERYTHING is closed around here. My boss would Never close our shop, I work in a body shop! We're going to get busy now!
I took 2 pics from my phone:
This was my ride home last night:

And this was my drive into work this morning:

My hubby works for a local school district that is closed today so he gets to plow snow all day today!

HOW do you drive in that stuff? In the south we have NO CLUE how to drive in that. My baby brother that lived down here and moved to Oregan tried it and this is what happened....

This was the 4th cruise in that department that wrecked that month on the ice. He got out after the car came to a stop and slipped and fell on the ice.

So I ask... How do you manage to drive in that stuff?
