    Moxie's stitches

Poor little Moxie was spayed on Wed. and she also had a tumor removed from her back right thigh. The vet feels it's a reaction from her vaccinations back in December and told me not to worry.

She's feeling fine but she looks pitiful. Here you can see her spay stitches in her belly and the ones in her thigh.

Action shot to prove she is fine.

    Being cute.

Poor little Moxie. Give her some extra love from me. She's such a little doll!

She reminds me of a kitty we had when I was a teenager. We called her "Little T" (because we had a larger kitty called Tommie T). The resemblence is so amazing!

She sure don't look like either are bothering her. It has to feel odd to her to have that fur shaved off though...cold....naked!

Poor Moxie. I'm surprised that she doesn't have to wear an e-collar. My girls would be trying to lick and tear out their stitches. I'm glad that she's doing well and is playful. Heal up quickly Moxie Moo.

She is one CUTE little girl!!!! If the vet feels a vaccination caused the lump, do you know how you will proceed? I mean, you don't want a lump every year, right??

I was wondering about that. I didn't really get to talk to her much about it when she called after the surgery but I plan to the next time I go in. I did get the impression from her that in time it might have gone away - that it's just Moxie's immune system fighting the injection. She did tell me she has a cat that has the same reaction so I'm curious as to what she does about that cat. I also want to know which vaccination was given there, the rabies or the other.

KAK - Moxie has pulled at her stitches a few time but for the most part she has been a very good patient. I'm lucky!
