    Homemade Dog Collar! :)

After looking online for some cute collars for the girls, I decided that I would try and make my own instead of pay $75 for a collar/leash set, lol. My mom does a lot of sewing, so she had everything I needed just lying around in the sewing room (everything except the D-ring, that's why the pin is there -- I havn't stiched that part closed yet).

So umm...yay for collars! Please keep in mind that this is only my first try, lol, and I was only working with what I could get my hands on. The material only *remotely* matches the ribbon, haha.

The bright pink stuff is 1inch wide and made of cotten and the ribbon is...ribbon o.O

Soyay. Just wanted to show it off

Thanks everyone! I have no idea what the total cost was, but I asked my mom to give an estimate (cuz she bought all the stuff, lol) and she said it only comes to roughly $6 (D-ring included, probably). So yes, a money saver indeed!

LOVE your choice of ribbon. Great job. I've gotten the hardware to make collars before but never actually did it.
