Pssst...guess what? (Updated: the account of my first day!)

Hey all,

I would have told you all this sooner only I had to take a little few-days break from PT Soooo, without further ado...

I'm going to start volunteering at my local RSPCA animal shelter next Saturday!



Of course, this first session will be more of a 'trial' than an actual, definite work position, just to see how I get on with the jobs I will be doing. But I'm still really excited! The types of things I will be doing will be kennel assitant, dog walking, cleaning out small animal pens and taking part in fundraising activities.

I'll let you all know how I get on once I've done the first day. Maybe after a while, if all is successful, they will allow me to take my camera and I can show you all a few pics.

Oh, and maybe-possibly-perhaps I'll just fall in love with a kitty, and from there who knows....

Congratulations! I can certainly understand your excitement! Oh I have no doubt that sooner or later you will fall in love with some needy kitty . I hope you are able to get pictures, I'd love to see them!

How will you ever be able to leave them when it is time for you go to home? I think this is wonderful, you will elarn so much about so many different types of pets in a short time. Great news!
