    * Calm before the storm .. [7 pix]

The weather was very nice for a few days, and we enjoyed it a lot. Unfortunately, we had northern winds today and it was -41*C with the windchill.

I decided to resize the photos from the warmer days and share them with you.

    Goodnight, PT!

Great pictures! Your pups are both so beautiful.

The weather has been the same here the last couple days, yesterday worse than today. It's horrible - fortunately we just got the awful wind without all of the snow everyone else is getting.

    B-R-R-R-R-R! THAT'S COLD!
We're really getting spoiled this winter - it hasn't been even down to zero yet here. Stay warm, curl up with your two furballs! They're sooo cute.

The two scales meet at -40 so it doesn't really matter which one! -40 F is the same as -40C.

We've warmed up to -22C today, but the windchill still makes it -36C. Feels balmy practically. All week we've been at -40C before the windchill was factored in!

Great pictures. I have a weakness for bi-eyed dogs. One of the great canine loves of my life was a bi-eyed Siberian. The Chukchi tribe, who orginated the Siberian breed, said that the bi-eyed dogs were specially gifted. With the brown eye, they see this world, the blue eye allows them to see the spirit world.

Yeah, I meant Hoodoo. Will be three years next month that he's been gone and I still miss him everyday.

You're so lucky! I mean, you at least HAVE a winter! *steals cold weather* Coldest day here was a high of like 48*F or something.

Adorable pictures! Lucky they can run around in such cold weather while practically naked! (Not that I'd enjoy running our naked in cold wather )

The pups don't look like they mind. Good thing they have such pretty winter coats.

(Very interesting post Glacier (both the info about the two scales meeting at -40 and the bi-eyed dog info.).

Wow that is so so cold. I live in Nova Scotia and thankfully we haven't been past -12 yet, but we will be soon. Your doggies are so pretty and I bet they liked the warmer weather too
