How Many Christmas Trees are too Many?

I know someone started a thread during the Christmas holidays about showing your trees but never got mine posted. So today as I was preparing to take them down, I took some pictures. Here is the tree in our living room. It has mostly angels and purple ornaments and some of Rob's.

Here is Carl's tree in the family room. It has John Deere tractors on it, cars, trains, and sport team stuff. (And he got a little lazy and didn't really finish decorating it, too)

Last year, the first Christmas after Rob died, I put up a tree with his ornaments on it under the poem that Karen wrote and sent when he died.

I am not sure what attracts me to trees but here are some of my others

    Holy Trees!

You have all those trees up in the SAME year in the SAME house?

Wow, that's WAY ambitious! I do well to put ONE tree up!

But, since I'm glad to see I'm not the only one who is late with Christmas tree pics, here's mine ... only ONE, though!

It must take you days to get them all up, and days to take the down! What a beautiful bunch of trees, and probably the most decorated house as well!!

Inside, it might be, however my parents would have a tough time completing with the neighbor's when it comes to outdoor decorations. We use to joke we lived next door to the Griswald's!

Diana, I would love to stroll through your house at Christmastime and have you tell the the stories behind all of these trees! They are beautiful in the pictures, so I know that in person they would be even better!

How do you keep the pups from using all of those!

Seriously though, they are all so pretty! Some Christmas' there would be at least 3 trees up in my parents house.
