I was taking these pictures and started to notice she didn't look right. Went over and she felt lighter. So we called teh vet and rushed right in. She has lost 1 pound - 10% of her weight - in less than 3 months. Blood tests suggest it is hyperthyroidism. So we are trying to get the right dose of medicine now. Returned to the vet today for another blood check. She is still not herself, but doing better.







She was sitting so pretty in Dad's arm. So I grabbed the camera and took 4 shots. They all look pretty much the same. She moved.

Ruffles is beautiful! I hope she gets to feeling bettre real soon. i know how bad you feel for them when your babies aren't feeling good.

Ruffles sure is beautiful! I'm glad you had that mom's keen eye and noticed she wasn't feeling well. I hope the meds will work and she will be feeling well again very soon!

Awwww! She is so lovely! It is easy to see with all that beautiful fur how you would miss a weight loss so don't beat yourself up to badly... Hope the meds do the trick and she is back to her old self again soon. She is to beautiful to be under the weather!
